How do I add my cottage to the site?

Adding your cottage is quick & easy just click on ‘Add your cottage’ from the top left corner or by clicking ‘Let your cottage’ from the main navigation menu. Once on the Let your cottage page you will be asked to fill in your Name, Email address, Telephone Number and password.

An Email confirmation will then be sent to you via the email you specified in signup and once you click the link on the email it will take you to your new membership page where you can specify if you would like to signup for 6 months or 1 year.

Once membership payment has been made you will be directed to your new Admin section where you can add your new cottage and update any contact information.

You can also edit your availability calendar via the admin section so you can specify which dates are available for booking.

How do I advertise on the homepage banner image?

You can advertise on our homepage banner image by contacting us and the cost to advertise is £99 per week.

 

Finding and booking a rental

1. Search onlycottages.com for your ideal cottage. You can search by location, minimum price, maximum price, pets allowed.

2. Contact the owner directly via the profile page and the details will be emailed directly to the owner,

NOTE: Payments between holidaymaker and owner are not made via the Only Cottages website and the owner will be responsible for arranging payment for renting their cottage out.

Onlycottages.com is a self-service website that enables travellers to find and book holiday cottages without the use of a middleman.

 

How do I contact a holiday cottage owner?

Emailing an owner
1. Locate the listing you would like to enquire about.
2. Click on Enquiry Now button form the holiday cottage profile page under Contact Owner.
3. Fill out the form and submit it.

Call an owner
1. Locate the listing you would like to enquire about.
2. At the bottom of the holiday cottage profile page you will see a contact name and telephone number.
3. Ring the owner. Telephone numbers are optional so if one is not listed then you can enquire via the enquiry form.

 

What do I do if I have not received a response to my enquiry?

If you do not hear back within 48 hours of enquiring about a holiday cottage rental, it is best to enquire on additional properties.

It can be frustrating to enquire on a property and not receive a response right away and we do encourage holiday rental owners to reply within 24-48 hours to accept or decline a booking. There is a chance that the owner is temporarily without access to email or voice mail and simply cannot respond to you.
